Just a little python script to make searching the web from the command line quicker.
Download via SVN, svn co https://gnugle-search.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/gnugle-search gnugle-search
Usage
Either call 'gnugle -[search engine]
' or just '[search engine symlink]
' followed by a search string.
Features
- Can use any browser.
- Forks to release the terminal if opening a new GUI browser.
- When a GUI browser is already running, gnugle just starts a new tab.
- Trivial to add new search engines, just modify five variables and make a symlink.
- Nifty (but optional) cowsay error messages :)
